Returning to Ripe for another year, In 2026 we welcome Quartz Reef Wines to host the famous Wine Lounge. VIP’s will have prime view of entertainment and the glorious Lake backdrop, ticket includes welcome bubbles, canapés throughout the day + more VIP type things…..
The Best VIP experience at Ripe Festival adds a space to relax and enjoy a family style buffet meal paired with Central Otago Wines specially selected from the Dicey range.
Tables of 10 (seats sold seperately) will create a feastival space while having prime views of the entertainment on stage and all the VIP extras you might expect…..
Brews x Views will be back serving up a new range of brews to keep you on your toes.
Rhyme and Reason brewery will be bringing you the ice-cold beers but in their epic bar to solve all the queuing in that glorious sunshine.
For the Cocktail lovers out there, make your way to the Glendhu Social Club by Scapegrace Distilling Co serving cocktails made with Scapegrace’s handcrafted artisan products.

Ripe – The Wanaka Wine and Food Festival returns to the shores of Lake Wanaka on Saturday March 20, 2027
The event will be held at Glendhu Station, located within a 10 minute drive of Wanaka township and a stone’s throw away from one of New Zealand’s most beautiful campgrounds, Glendhu Bay Motor Camp. Attendees will get to enjoy the exceptional panoramic lake and mountain views of the majestic bay area while enjoying some premium wine and food supplied by Central Otago’s best producers.

The event is 100% CASHFREE, make sure you bring a credit/debit card for any purchases, all terminals will have paywave capability
If there is an extreme weather event then the event will be cancelled. Note the word “extreme”! We will keep on singing in light rain.
Yes, Children 12 and under are free. Don’t expect any entertainment for kids. Only bring them if you can’t find a babysitter.
